BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Appointment Times & Access
    By booking with Eraserpest Limited, you confirm you are over 18 years of age and will be available at the agreed appointment time to provide access to the property. Appointments are scheduled for a specific time, and our technician will wait no longer than 20 minutes from that time. If access is not made available within this window, the visit will be recorded as unattended.
  2. Arrival & Identification
    Our technician will arrive in a sign-written Eraserpest vehicle and will be wearing company uniform. If you require additional confirmation of identity, you may contact our office on 07572 458216 for verification.
  3. Locating the Pest Issue
    You are responsible for showing our technician the exact location(s) where pest activity has been observed to allow proper inspection and treatment.
  4. Missed Appointment Charge
    If we attend at the scheduled time and access is not provided within the 20-minute grace period, a £45 + VAT non-attendance fee will be charged.
  5. Preparation Requirements
    Some treatments require preparation before arrival. These instructions will be supplied in advance.
    If preparation has not been completed and treatment cannot be safely or effectively carried out, the visit will be aborted and a £45 + VAT preparation failure fee will apply.
  6. Children, Pets & Livestock
    You must ensure all children, pets, and livestock are kept out of treated rooms or areas.
    Insect treatments require a minimum 4-hour exclusion period after application.
    For rodent treatments, children and pets must be kept away from all traps, baits, and rodenticide stations for the entire duration of the treatment programme.
  7. Rodent Treatment Guarantee (Private Domestic Customers)
    Rodent behaviour varies greatly and infestations can require multiple visits. If you have completed at least three rodent treatment visits over a 6-week period and have followed all proofing, hygiene, and housekeeping recommendations provided on your treatment reports:
    We will send a surveyor free of charge to reassess the problem.
    If all recommendations have been followed, we will provide one additional treatment visit at no cost.
    If recommendations have not been followed and this has affected progress, further visits will be chargeable.
  8. Commercial Treatments
    Due to the higher risk in commercial environments, one-off or short treatments cannot be guaranteed. For business premises, we strongly advise maintaining an ongoing pest control contract to achieve consistent results throughout the year.
  9. Annual Maintenance Contracts
    Clients who receive 4, 6, 8, or 12 service visits per year enter into a 12-month rolling agreement with Eraserpest Limited.
    Termination requires 3 months’ written notice, submitted to james@eraserpest.com.

ADDITIONAL TERMS – CALL-OUT & MULTIPLE PEST FINDINGS

If we attend your property and no pest activity is present, a £60 + VAT inspection fee will be charged to cover time and attendance.

If you have booked treatment for a specific pest, and our technician discovers other pest issues on site, we are under no obligation to treat these during the original appointment.

You may need to book a separate visit through the office, or—if the technician has available time and you agree to the additional cost—extra work may be carried out during the same visit. Any additional treatments will incur separate charges.

PEST-SPECIFIC TREATMENT POLICIES

Wasps / Hornets

We guarantee eradication of a wasp or hornet nest with a single treatment, provided full access is available and the nest is no higher than 15ft / 4.5m.

  • Nests above this height may require extra equipment and additional charges.
  • Treatment may take up to 14 days to fully take effect.
  • If activity continues after 14 days, we will return for one free follow-up treatment.
  • If we are called for a wasp nest and the issue is found to be bees, a £45 + VAT misidentification fee will apply and any overpayment will be refunded.

Bed Bugs

For domestic clients who have completed a minimum of three treatments over nine weeks, and who have followed all instructions:

  • A free survey will be provided.
  • One additional treatment will be supplied free of charge if compliance is confirmed.
  • Non-compliance results in chargeable follow-up visits.

Fleas

For domestic clients who have completed two treatments over four weeks, waited six weeks from the initial visit, and followed all advice:

  • A free reassessment will be carried out.
  • One extra treatment will be provided free of charge if compliance is confirmed.
  • Non-compliance results in chargeable visits.

Ants / Earwigs / Spiders

For customers who have had two treatments within four weeks, followed instructions, and allowed six weeks for eradication:

  • Free reassessment provided
  • One additional treatment free if all guidance was followed
  • Additional visits will be charged where instructions were not followed.

Clothes Moths / Carpet Beetles

Subject to the same conditions as above—2 treatments, compliance, and a 6-week eradication period—one free follow-up is available if required.

Cluster Flies

Cluster fly populations fluctuate seasonally, and therefore no eradication guarantee can be provided. Regular autumn and spring treatments can help manage numbers.

Cockroaches

For domestic customers completing three treatments over nine weeks, waiting 12 weeks for eradication, and following all technician recommendations:

  • A free survey will be arranged
  • One further treatment will be provided at no charge if compliance is confirmed
  • Non-compliance results in additional charges.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

  • More than 48 hours’ notice:
    A refund may be issued, minus a £10 + VAT administration fee.
  • Within 48 hours of your appointment:
    A £45 + VAT short-notice fee will be applied

These terms are governed by English law, and both parties agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. If any clause is deemed unenforceable, the remainder will continue in effect.
